I know there were some posts a few weeks ago about touch screen LCD
panels.
Did anyone get one or already have one they can recommend (for wall
mounting and general HA control using MainLobby). I have got 3 Fuji's
but they're got so good viewed at an angle (and a bit too big).
Paul.

Mark
Do you mean from the bathroom side, or the LCD screen side?

Daniel,
Did you have any thoughts on preventing the perspex from steaming up ?

Hi Martin
I have brought a small Kenwood TFT screen, (around 6" x 4")
which I am
planning to do this with - for TV in the bath :-)
Rather than have mains power in the bathroom, I have run a cable from
Node 0
for supplying the 12v power for this screen, along with a length of
screened
cable for the signal. (yes and a couple of lengths of cat 5 :-) - for
Telephone and IR).
I'm using a spare nicam VCR in Node 0 to provide the picture out to the
screen, and will then add an infrared point in the bathroom to control
the
TV with.
I'm routing the sound through ceiling speakers (Henrys sell some in
white -
www.henrys.co.uk)
I plan on mounting the TV into a recess in the wall, and to mount the
TV
behind Perspex, which will be sealed into the wall.
As for the remote control, well that's going into an aquapac:
http://www.aquapac.net/
To allow for if the control gets dropped in the bath :-)
HTH
Daniel

I'm thinking about putting a small lcd screen recessed into chimney
wall
in
the bathroom to use as a digital picture frame, telly etc. (Driving it
>from
a computer)
I think I remember someone doing something like this....
Any ideas re mounting behind perspex / glass? Also what about touch
screen
or other input?
Martin
