Hi,

Interesting you should say that. I am on my third in about two years.
Touch it carefully. They are warm to touch in normal operation but
they go uncomfortably hot when they fail, and like Malcolm said above
smell rather burnt. Of the two I had that failed one went completely,
the other like you have found would partly respond. Mine would switch
the light in that room on, but for some reason the signals would not
travel to more distant rooms!

Can I ask if you plugged anything into the same socket? Mine seemed to
fail last time I plugged a vaccum cleaner into a nearby socket. I have
wondered if electrical interference was somehow to blame?

Thanks.
