can someone point me at a good reference site on the net that might help me
understand a bit better the various video formats (DivX\AVI\MPEG\etc) that
are around? I'm interested to learn more having just successfully (more by
luck than anything) converted an AVI file to MPEG and then burned that to
DVD to play on my DVD player. There was a vast array of options (frame
rates, file types, etc, etc) and I'm afraid I didn't understand most of it!
:-) What are the best quality formats on DVD - my attempt seemed to create
VOB files? Do I have to convert AVI -> MPG -> VOB? Help!

Malcolm
