Hi Paul,

Don't mention to SWMBO about it being complicated as I had enough hassle
convincing her that it was a good idea and would be very simply and
reliable
in operation.

Saying that, now that it has worked faultlessly for the last 3 weeks or so,
she has forgotten about it and just uses it much like the old one.

Actually, it is much simpler than it looks. I just wanted to play around
with CAN bus in the first place.

The boost on the central heating is a bonus if I am working late on the
computer at night. I simply bring up a Windows application and hit BOOST on
it and a command gets transmitted via CAN to the controller and hey presto,
the heating is back on. As I am in the far end of the house to the
controller, this is a great labour saving device :O)

Regards
Dave...

This is more interesting and complicated than I'd have thought it would
be. I'll have to add this to
the list of things to do :-(
