RE: Re: Digital Home

I tend to agree. Without turning this thread into something it shouldn't
be, I get all the typical gadget mags (ie. T3, Stuff), but the only time I
get to read them is in hotels or on planes, and more often than not, it'll
be DH that's left behind, simply because it takes me about twice as long to
read the other mags, for the reasons below. It's easy to see why somebody
who's not familiar with DH thinks it's an 'interiors' mag rather than
technology. I guess, from my point of view, DH tends to be more
aspirational than the other gadget mags, which in some ways is good, but
equally it would be nice to read about gizmo's which are in my price
bracket. I think the only X10 review, for example, was a bit light-weight
in terms of what could be done with it.

It's still a good read though, and I for one will be the biggest fan if and
when I win something ;-)

Pete

Hi Dan

I subscribe to the magazine and was lucky enough to win a Sony home
cinema system a few months back ( Thanks for that). I generaly like
the magazine but would like more technical content than there is now.
Current format seems to often have a large glossy page on a product
with a very small review. I think it would be great to get the input
of some of the folks in this group, how about how you can make some
of this yourself now rather than wait?

Regards
Ian Henderson
