Phil's media server

Hi,

Phil of LA fame was posting here recently about his media server on
which he archived dvds. I just wondered how many people here have a
dvd server? If so, how do you do it? Do you use a virtual drive and
mount images of the dvds or is there some other fancy software that
you use?

What connection do you use to connect to the tv? I don't know any
cards that have RGB out, or do you all have expensive plasma screens?
