The AWM2 has a feature that allows it to detect the presence of a load (a
bit like local control) so I'm guessing what you're seeing is the module
sending a small voltage through the load to determine if it is switched on
or not.

According to the manual (I don't actually own an AWM2 BTW) the load sensing
feature is turned off by default.

You could always try resetting the module back to factory defaults and see
if that solves the problem (just in case the load sense feature has some
how been turned on)

(reprogramming the module with a new address restores all settings to their
factory defaults)
