I found finally some speakers that are shallow enough to fit into my
plasterboard.
They are just 34 mm deep.
Of course, they are not of hi-fi quality, but I plan to use it primarily
for
anouncements, therefore I put just one in each room.
They are white (SWMBO compatible) and cheap (only £8) I paid for each at
Henry's.
However, I haven't bought them for all the rooms, and now I noticed that
there are versions of 4 and 8 ohms.
Which one should I go for?

You can find tech details here:
http://www.monacor.com/produkte/index.cfm?Language=2&Caller=AT&Caller=AT

Look for Order number 10.3150 (8 ohm version) or 10.1620 (4 ohm version)

I hope that I will be able to play some background music through them, but
frequency range doesn't promise much (100-12,000 Hz).
However, I don't expect hi-fi quality there either.

Cheers,
Nik
