Last time I looked there were a couple of Acer tablets in Microwarehouse
B-grade for 700+vat... <looks>

Yup.. they have 12 http://www.microwarehouse.co.uk/product.asp?sku=3DRYE441=

Nice piece of kit too.. comes with a couple of smartcards to enable really
good security.

I'll be keeping an eye on stock levels ;-)

Steve,
Steve,

Just out of interest, how much did you pay?

I paid =A3750 for the Compaq TC1000 (cheapest I it found was around
=A31100=
new)
and =A3920 for the Toshiba (cheapest I found was around =A31500 new)

The main reason for buying was I had money burning a hole in my pocket :)
We had our house burgled in February and the took a Fuji510i Web pad (that=
=20
I paid =A3150 for) and an old battered Panasonic 486SX Laptop (=A3100 from
eBay).=20
Insurance paid me out in cash.. =A3925 for the WebPad and =A31100 for the

aptop
!!

Fujitsu are dumping their first-generation PIII tablets for around
GBP600 to distributors in readiness for the Centrino-based machines.

Steve

If I could have found one at that price I would have been well happy.
There was one on eBay for around =A3900 if I remember correctly, but I
real=
ly
wanted a tablet with a keyboard of some form.
I suppose it like all things electronic.. never buy it as an investment,
next week it will be old hat and half the price.

Marcus
