Mmm, it's odd that you can get 'instant on' via the 'set X10 device
directl=
y to level' command and 'instant off' by issuing an 'all lights off'
comman=
d but no way to get an individual lamp to turn instantly off.

Sorry, I miss read a bit of your post. With Din rail modules the norm
is to use momentary switches so there is no on/off state on the
switch and therefore the x10 equipment always works. It is true that
with plug in modules someone can turn off the socket and the x10 unit
will then be inaccessible. And my rant about lack of status feedback
still stands.
