See..yes...I know this argument, but equally, there won't even be 0.1%
of the population using it if it's overpriced!  Market forces work
both ways!

Most of Europe is on 240(ish)v and 50Hz....would there be some mileage
in manufacturers producing a standard base unit into which you plug
your own country's plug socket unit??  I'm grasping at straws here...!
How difficult can this be?? Oh dear...I'm coming over all misty eyed
again...
