run as a service

Hi all,

I was trying to access my system today from work and had to re-boot my home
server then could access nothing!

I forgot that ACE, HV and other bits do not start till I log onto the
server....forgot that...

So, is there anyway I can run these programs as a service? I am sure I have
done this before but not too sure.

Alternatively can I enter them into the Run entry in the registry?

Any other ways so I do not get caught out again?
