right... seeing as this is a HA group....

does your service allow us, well me, to have my scripts directly interface
with your cgi/php/asp SMS delivery mechanisms so I can have my servers post
alerts over the internet without going to your site, logging in and typing
the message into the form?

and if it does, is this supported, and do you have an sample code? (I know
its simple to just send the HTTP requests as if it was coming from a
client=
,
but its always nice if there is a proper way to do it :)

....or will I have to keep the spare mobile/data cable/PAYT SIM combination
in my loft for this?

thanks,
Alistair

Another shameless [OT] plug.. :-)

SendMyTxt is giving one lucky user free text messaging for a whole
year. Everytime you top-up your SendMyTxt account, we'll add you into
the draw. Then on 1st September 2003, you could win 500 text credits
a month for a whole year! That's 6000 text credits - worth =A3300!

Find out more at http://www.sendmytxt.com/?page=3Dcompetition

By the way, I've just persuaded the powers that be to drop the price
of texts down to 5p each, if you make a top-up of =A360 on your plastic.

This could be a good time to mention that Vodafone are putting up
their international text rates to 24p a message from next month :-)
