Hi All,
Thanks for the help so far, but now I need step two!
Reducing the scanned bmp's to gif's has reduced the archive from
about 2.1 gig to 640Meg.
I now estimate that of the remaining 640 meg, 500 meg is due to word
documents with silly graphics in the letter head that probably make
a 50K word document 500K.
In each word document there appears to be two of these, and they are
probably stored in .bmp internally to the document as well.
Is there any easy way to batch process these word documents, either
to replace the graphic instances with hyperlinks to a single
instance, or to convert the internal storage method?
Don't know enought about word docs to even guess where to start!
