feature wise, about the same.. this one doesn't have the record-lock
feature, but, ime, that didn't really work as you would expect anyway..

I also find that the quality of this unit is much better (I have both) than
the B-tech one.

I paid about 65 for mine, before Maplin dropped the price, and am quite
happy with it. At this price, it's a no-brainer.
