RE: TIVO - edit programme names?

Paul,

When you record from VCR to TiVo you need to make sure you choose the right
length program, so the scroll bar is the right length. For example if it
was
a home video that was say 6 minutes long and you forced a partial recording
that the TiVo guide said was an hour then the fast forward scroll bar would
be graduated for an hour rather than 6 minutes.  I got round this by doing
manual recordings, so I could choose the start and approximate stop time.
The only problem I found with this was when I renamed them via TiVo web you
still get them prefixed with 'Manual:'  which is a pain but liveable with
:)
