I'm sure this has come up in the past, but I haven't managed to find
anything in the archive, so I'll ask anyway...

I'm a Cat5 cable short going to the living room and I'm just about
to mod my XBox. One cable is a PABX line for the Digibox and TiVo.
I'm using RJ45 to BT adapters at each end. Is there any reason why I
shouldn't make up a splitter/combiner to carry Ethernet on the spare
pairs?
