Re: LED Replacement to Mains Halogen

The link is for orange, red, green or blue lamps.

White ones are here -> http://www.bltdirect.co.uk/item562.htm

but they are about =A35 more expensive at =A316.45 ea

Has anyone seen any specs of light output (intensity) and spectrum? Most
wh=
ite LEDs I've seen have a bit too much blue in them for my liking.

However, even at that price it might be worth getting one and testing the
d=
imming capability, although I suspect that whether they can be dimmed or
no=
t will depend on the type of dimmer used and so will probably not be
conclu=
sive for all users.

Cheers

Subject: [ukha_d] LED Replacement to Mains Halogen

Hi

With all this talk of big electric bills, I spotted these:

In a local lighting shop. Look really quite good.=20

Any one know if they would be dimmable? The guy in my local shop didn't
know! He also wanted =A325 a bulb, somewhat cheaper on the site above!

Cheers

Rob
