Xbox Question

I have just got an Xbox from Tescos (to help with the old loyalty points!!)

Not sure if I got lucky or maybe it's part of their offer as I paid £130
and
got the Xbox with the 2 games (GT&JSRF).

Anyway, the question is during playback of DVD's or even during the games,
I
have noticed about 5 vertical lines appearing down the right-hand side of
the TV. They are not that noticeable, but they are there. It is playing on
a
cheap TV (saving for a Plasma), but I have never seen this before on the
TV.

Is this a known problem with Xbox, or have I got a "duff" one?
