As Dean suggests 2.5mm2 not required...1.0mm2 or 1.5mm2 .......

Clipsal state that their cat5 is mains rated so i assume others sell mains
rated cat5......

I assume their UK alarm system is based on their Aussie version which to me
looks very like a Ness Panel (another alarm panel manufacturer...
They also have their own Home Automation Panel "Minder"........
