RE: Tivo & RU950
Ill take a look later this evening... I must admit, I don't tend to
watch live TV so have never noticed! It seems a little silly to me for
the Tivo to record 24/7 in case you turn the tv on and want to timeshift
the currently selected channel!

Wrong, the disk is writing 24/7. How else do you think you can switch on
the TV at any time and replay the last 30 minutes of the channel the
Tivo is tuned to! It constantly records the live TV signal to disk.
