Might you also want to drill a couple of holes at the bottom to
encourage
drawing cold air in @ bottom, hot air out @ top?

I had exactly the same problem with my cabinet and I used to leave the
door
slightly open but the sprogs kept closing it. I ended up drilling 2
holes
(about 50mm - that's 2" to you old gits) as close to the top as
possible on
the rear and now I can leave the door closed and the inside stays quite
cool
now.
