After
looking at this url, http://theledlight.com/specialuse.html
I’ve seen this
http://theledlight.com/starled.html as *most*
of us have (or are soon to be owners) of the white led’s that Kieran
sorted
out, I think it makes sense to have some decent bezels made up …
I think it’d be
easy
enough to machine a small piece of ally or a piece of steel, but, I
don’t know
anyone that works in the engineering type of trade..
If I were to contact
some
local engineering firms to see if they could machine a similar design led
holder, would there be any interest from you guys? Or if I come up against
a
brick wall with the local engineering firms, does anyone out there know of
anyone who may be interested in doing something like this
?
Or if
anyone knows of anywhere that I would be able to purchase a similar
holder/bezel ?
Regards,
Jonathan.

Whist the stair nosing may not be what you want, the lights in
plastic
tubing may be an option.
Or you could use some of those (bulk-bought) white LED's...
http://theledlight.com/specialuse.html
list some interesting products.

Subject: [ukha_d] Skirting Level lighting
I have now reached the stage on the home removation where I am
planing the total remodleing of upstairs. I have so far taken out all
the walls and currently planing the lighting control.
Does anybody know of any small lighting that could be placed at
skirting board level ? I am looking to have a switch matrix either
side of the bed (just like hotels) that contorl all the lights in the
bedroom and en-suite, including some low level lights to light the
way to the loo at night.
I had though of using a transformer and 12v lamps, but have yet to
find any nice looking holders.
All this will of course be X10 controlled.
Any help much appriciated.
Kevin
