RE: OT: Compilation CD

Jon / Ken,

Thanks. Rather annoyingly, I've left the piece of paper which tells me "which track from which album" at home.

So, I'm feeding all the CDs into EAC one by one, and ripping to WAV.

Then, I'll copy the WAVs over to the lappy (which has the CD-writer on it), and use Nero as you suggest.

Benefit - also get them all as WAVs/MP3s on the music server. The music server, alas, has a faulty system disk. Fortunately the data is:

1: on a different disk
2: backed up

:-)

Regards,

Mark

I'd just rip them all to WAV or MP3 (Depending on your views on compressed
audio) and then just drag and drop into nero's Audio CD creator... hit
Write and you're away :)

Good CD ripper is CDex.. converts to mp3/wma/wav/etc/etc (google for it)

Some CD players won't read CD-RW, so you should try and use a regular CD-R
where possible.
