Is this in a removeable caddy? Or do you leave the backup in the 
computer? If so, what will you do in the event of fire, flood, lighting
strike etc. I know it's not the most important data in the world, but 
general backup principle would be to make sure the backups are stored 
off-site. Is this an issue?

And how much data are you backing up to the disk? My original enquiry 
was prompted by the thought of people with 100s of Gbs of files. I don't
think there's an IDE disk that big yet. Or do you use a series of
disks?

Just curious, as I am planning to drastically increase the amount of 
data I am storing by using the server to store ripped DVDs and recorded
programs too. I'm thinking of RAID-5ing 4 120Gb disks, and wondering how
to back that up if it gets even half-full.
