Re: PCBlastIR

Ive got some tips from the manufacturer re-coding - how to access the raw data, he was saying that the CPU interrrupts cause the data to change but you can encode the string into 1's and 0's and use that (where 0 = 0 and everything else is 1)

I'll let you know when i try later on

Any luck with the remote? It sounds like what Dan says your sending multiple
copies of the signal . You must use the ir hardware shown on Dans site to use his software . This PCcBlaster IR any links?

Hi Jim
I might be talking crap here but that sounds like the same problem im having with one of my remotes which i believe uses rc5 coding and therefore with every new press of a button a toggle bit gets set or reset so there are two codes per button one with the toggle bit set and one with the toggle bit reset............

Hi,

Anyone out there managed to get the PCBlast IR (concept devices) to receive the same command twice?

I know the learning remote works fine, you can save the received command and send it back out and it works fine, but
if you want to save it and watch for the same command comming in via infra red again - they dont match.

Seems a bit silly as that way you cant control your pc - only let your pc control your appliances.
