Hi Stu

Yes the serial PIC should give you this flexibility with a PC. I will look
at being able to program a schedule into it but that will not be this year
with the other projects on at the moment.

I would be interested in this as I grow Bonsai which sometimes need
watering 3 times a day depending on the weather.

Only problem is that I don't (yet) have homevision.  Would the serial
board that your thinking of for the future get oer this problem?
