Wavefinder powered from the PC
I think I remember reading on the list or somewhere that you can power
the
Wavefinder from the PC's internal power supply.
I am getting sick of the drop-outs from the psion supplied power supply,
so
I am considering changing the supply. Using the PC seems a sensible way
to
do it, as cutting down on wall warts is a good thing, and as my PC has
a
350w supply, I feel sure it has enough juice.
>From memory; the yellow is +12v, and the black next it is its ground.
Has anybody else done this, that can confirm it works, and is a safe
thing
to do?
Thanks - Steve
