Any experience of IPHomeNet?

I am a Newbie to this group and to Home automation. Seems to me that IP over
CAT5 is the way to go and that COAX is always problematic.

I have an old farmhouse and barn in which I have run twin CAT5 and COAX but
came across the IPHomeNet system... www.iphomenet.com and wondered if anyone
had any experience of the system. It basically runs everything over CAT5e. I
was especially interested if anyone had linked this to any automation
software.

Any feedback of value. Many thanks.

Best Regards
