Hi Amar
                If the cable runs are not long cat5 would be ok , i perfer
to use 4 core security cable . Use a proper security power supply with
battery back up . The output voltage is approx 13.8v.....It might be an idea
to fuse the output of the power supply to protect the cat5 incase a fault
occurs as i believe the cat5 can only carry approx 200mA.............
