RE: led bulk buy closing 10am thursday
Mr Bird has a lot to answer for going on holiday whilst im doing this
bulk
buy! 9v or 12v should be fine to run quite a few in series.
Take a look at the link FrankM sent out earlier today for a reasonable
overview of what you need to do. Otherwise Id recommend waiting for
our own
IanB to come back off holiday!

Kieran,
I'm not entirely convinced of my own abilities here, but I'll give it a
go.
I guess I'm at the "trying a few, for the garden" stage.
Could you put me down for 4 off of each of the following:
RL5-W3030 - White - 3k mcd - 4 @ 1.24
= 4.96
RL5-W6018 - White - 6k mcd - 4 @ 1.11
= 4.44
RL5-B2430 - Blue - 2.4 mcd - 4 @ 1.02
= 4.04
RL5-B5516 - Blue - 5.5 mcd - 4 @ 1.04
= 4.16
Total
8.80 + whatever
P&P / tax ends up being due.
I assume that all I need to test is a wallwart, some wire, and a couple
of
resistors. What spec wallwart will I need?
M.
