A lot hinges on whether you want to leave a PC running, with your HA
reliant on it.

If this is acceptable to you, then Misterhouse, HomeSeer and Autom8it are
all options:

- Misterhouse - ultimately very flexible
- HomeSeer - good user community
- Autom8it - free, the new kid on the block, growing fast

If you DON'T want to rely on a PC, then realistically Homevision is for
you... it's expensive, but a real "no regrets purchase", for me,
and everyone else I know who's bought one.

Homevision has the advantages of flexibility and a good user community as
well - the downside is the price :-(
