Sorry Tim, nothing personal, but one car I have sworn I will *never* own is
a BMW....

Let's not turn this into a flame war about the merits or otherwise of this
stance, but it's just the way I happen to feel about *most* BMW
drivers....

Like I said, nothing personal... :-)

I'm actually looking at a Jaguar X-type, a Vauxhall VX220, or (ahem) a top
of the range Peugeot 206cc (with the the Merc roof opener), and *every*
conceivable optional extra! - bit of an eclectic collection eh!

I think the Audi TT's are just out of my price range, with the extra's that
I want... (I *must* have aircon and satnav!)

early days yet though, so I'm still at the "child in the
sweetshop" stage, 
and no doubt I'll change my mind several times yet... (but I'm going to a
Peugeot dealer tomorrow morning...)
