has to be disc at once mode in order for the inter-track gap to be zero,
as this isn't possible (ie 2 second gaps are mandatory) in track at once
mode.

If you can't manually insert index marks, then you may need to break the
wav into n*2352 byte chunks and record as separate tracks, but with zero
gap. This is Nero's approach (right click track to set gap).
