I didn't think it would be.  This is the only real cause for concern though
- I mean the light issue etc are trivial and I'm already doing that to him -
it's not worth the hassle of upsetting him over it.
If however it _would_ affect the price significantly then I would have cause
to be upset....

I guess if lots of ppl around me have done these conversions then there will
be an expected price range for this kind of house - I've just not seen any
where the houses side by side have been done.

Thanks for your thoughts guys.  I didn't really think there was anything I
could do, just wanted to get a few opinions.
