RE: Detecting an open door



I also remember seeing a magnetic sensor on the CHC website designed
specifically for this application (gates/garages etc.) where the sensor
will
tolerate a much bigger gap before trigerring, and can cope with a degree of
movement within the sensor range (gates rattling in the wind etc...).
Again,
not a wireless or X10 solution though, but could perhaps be coupled to a
powerflash module?
