LM12 2a fuses

I have a couple of LM12 with blown fuses. I can't seem to find the 2a
ones
that were in there (have looked in Maplin, D&Q, Homebase etc).

Is it safe to put the 3a ones in, or is there someplace I can get the
2a
ones from that I am missing?
