A few years ago I had a panasonic video that had a barcode scanner to
program the thing with, (you basically had a load of barcodes,
scanned in sstart and end times, etc, then aimed the thing at the
Video and pressed program) - now if something like that could be used
to choose a cd, even from a barcoded list, now that would have huge
swmbo appeal... (working on the theory that a book of barcodes still
takes up less room than a stack of cds...)
