I'd disagree there but thats because i've used sendmail from day one. 
To me
pico -w sendmail.mc and m4 sendmail.mc > /etc/sendmail.cf is really
easy.
Not really touched postfix myself (used qmail though) but thats the reason
I
use linux - its up to you which MTA you use you have the choice.
