Unless we can convince Keith to turn his KAT5 VGA prototype into a
shippable unit!

I have been looking for something similar as well. I have almost come to
the
conclusion that it is cheaper to use a small pc (such as a shuttle) next
to
the screen, driving it directly with a short vga cable.
of course you then have the problem of getting your other content to the
pc
