I think I read somewhere that this is so you can have a X10 sounder for it,=

Am I correct in assuming that the above, TCA and TTS etc are all the same outfit as their sites all look very similar. And similarly expensive with a=
PSU & Sounder going for around =A375 (I think they do the Elmdene one).=

I've had a quote from them for about =A350(ex) but extra for the battery an= d a
tenner for delivery so probably not a lot cheaper. I think they'll sell to<= BR> anyone though. Their website needs a bit of work.

As a bit of an aside, being a bit of an X-10 novice I got my XM10U and CM12=
on the same day recently. So I slid off the battery compartment on the CM12=
and put batteries in, then spent the next hour trying to get the battery compartment door off the XM10U. Eventually I took it apart to see why it wouldn't open only to discover the obvious, that it doesn't actually need any batteries and the compartment isn't actually wired anyway.

I found the generic instruction sheet that is included in all the X-10 bits=
I bought was a bit useless really in trying to cover all the components
especially since it didn't really have much if any detail on the XM & C= M
units.
