Hi Al,

You must have a strong reason to.... reinvent the wheel....;)
Maybe is a good idea to tell Jim what do you expect more from the Autom8it framework in order to do what you need to do..
As you know, the framework is still in beta, so almost anything can be included in the "wish list".
For some specific requests, you can write your own plugin, which is, I think, a big advantage.
