While on the subject of the bell wire, following a couple of unwelcome
late-night phone calls, I have been considering putting a switch in the
bell
wire on the incoming line (most likely a relay controlled by the HA),
to
enable me to instantly disable all internal phone ringing, but still
leave
the phones operable if we want to dial out...

Is this feasible?
