This is the XCAM with the integrated PIR; as far as I can tell, there is
no
way to adjust the focus, as the clear cover is stuck on. The other
XCAMs
(without PIR) are adjustable as the clear cover comes off. Have I got
this
wrong? (eager to learn <g>)

Have you tried turning the round lens part for better focus? It
wouldn't
make the picture pin-sharp but it should improve the sharpness of
it.
