DEAD PC [was Cheap PC]

Thanks for replying Mike.

Glad to know that it might be them and not me :-)
I simply haven't had time yet to start pulling processors and memory from another machine to nail down which bit has died.  There were no warnin= g
beeps from the box such as one might get with dodgy memory or cpu etc, so perhaps it is a dead mobo and not a dead CPU....
