Re: RE : atn PDA wireless CF Card or PCMCIA

Hi,

I have tested with good results the followiing wireless cards:
    Compaq WL100
    Compaq WL110
They work perfect with iPaq 36xx and 38xx, with both Pocket PC  and Po= cket PC 2002 OS.
Take care that no all the cards have good Pocket PC drivers available.
Because the PCMCIA jacked has his own battery, the authonomy is between 3 a= nd 6 hours with wireless card.

BR,
Dan

  On a slightly different slant...

Does anyone have any recommendations for a PCMCIA Wireless Card for = the IPAQ
  3660? - I already have the PCMCIA sleeve which I haven't used yet, s= o these
seemed the obvious choice, or is it worth getting a CF Wireless Card= and CF
  Sleeve?

Also what kind of affect do these have on the battery life?

Is there much difference between CF and PCMCIA?

Not a bad buy. What does everyone else think ? works with pocket pc = 2002

  4669  DCF-650W Wireless Compact Flash Card =A367.95

  D-Link Wireless Compact Flash Card

The wireless Type II card is IEEE 802.11b compliant and allows PDAs,= such as
the popular Compaq iPAQ, Casio 125 and the HP Jornada to operate wit= hin a
wireless system. The card works in both common ad-hoc and in infrast= ructure
  modes.
