I'm in reading...
We were once telecential? Or something roughly like that..
I thought NTL were moving all their systems to be the same.
I know NTL didn't have a clue about what services they had where for a
long time.
I had some trouble with caller-id, but just went thru a process of
elimination, using just a callerid box
And expanding the hardware back up from there..
The pace was a good modem, but by the time I heard about it, it was
hard
to get hold of.

That's odd - my pace caller id modem could not pick up BT callerid for
NTL
in the Newbury area. Used to work fine on BT though.
