Hi, Just read a report in PCW about the DVR-7000, PRV-9000, DVR-A03, DVR-103, DVR-A04 & DVR-104. It seems they have a problem with the newer 2x and 4x media in that they don't recognise them and can not calibrate the laser correctly. The result is that they just keep on heating up the disc. There is a firmware fix at www.pioneerrlrctronics.com/hs Sorry if this is old news! David
