I have a Widescreen TV with Intergrated Digital (DVB). I even had it when
ITV Digital were still around. I'm in an area where the www.freeview.co.uk
website says I can't recieve it. But with the help of a good Aerial on a
whooping great long poll, I can get it.

You get all the BBC channels in proper widescreen, and I think the quality
looks better than your tradional analogue. On the ITV channels, I still
experience some picture break up, but no where near as often as I did
before
FreeView started. If you can good picture on Analogue, you'll probably be
ok with FreeView. Borrow one if you can first to check.

You get extra channels like Sky News, The Hits, TMF, which are ok. The
Hits
same to play the same 34 songs over and over though! The radio stations
are
a good bonus, like BBC 1 Xtra, but I havn't found a way to blank the screen
to prevent burn in, for the Radio channel logo etc.

If you have a widescreen telly and no Sky Digital go get it, for 60-100ukp
you can't loose. If your buying a new TV, makes sure it has DVB integrated
just incase.
