Indeed, the scart pinout uses the same pin for sync and composite video, I
was just remarking that it was strange the Panny doesn't allow you to use
RGB and s-video at the same time

You can use H+V sync on the panel with a sync
> splitter.

Hmmm, is it normal for the H-sync connection to take in composite sync also?


John Sim makes one with a VGA connector on it, and you can

Make more sense to use the sync splitter at the business end and use
Kat5-RGBS to transmit the signal over cat5. Assuming you can hide the sync
splitter out of sight ;)
